Planet Simpson: How a Cartoon Masterpiece Defined a Generation
I’m embarrassed to say that I just found the Planet Simpson hardcover & audio book. Granted, it is 19 years old now, it’s given me the idea to dive into all books related to the Simpsons. One of the first cartoons I watched at almost two years old. Bars would play the Simpsons every Thursday night at 8pm, otherwise patrons wouldn’t come in until 8:30pm or later. They were an “appointment show”. You made your plans around that specific time, weekly.
The Simpson’s Audiobooks, books, and more Simpson’s content on the internet!
The more I think about how it used to be in the 90’s, the more I hate (strong word, dislike) the way the world is now with instant gratification, always being “needed”, or “available” and the over the speed limit lifestyle that is normal. The Simpsons were a huge part of my childhood, and more specifically, the 90’s. The good ole days.
Still a frequent watcher of The Simpsons, as an adult, one of the non-negotiable shows that’s lasted my relationships, I’m now in awe that I haven’t searched for any of their books… ever. With that kind of embarrassment, and dedication, I want to cover every Simpsons book I can in my #300Books journey. I will link each one in this post as I listen, or read, and review them.
